Modern Pocket Watch by People People

View all 7 Photos

In attempts to overthrow the overtly British and Victorian associations with the pocket watch, People People has decided that contemporary times call for an update to the traditional timepiece. The design studio has created an all-aluminum pocket watch that features no gold adornments or fancy inscriptions, but rather a minimalistic watch face and extremely flat construct. The modern pocket watch continues its vein of subtlety with its matte gray look from bezel to crown to chain, though a braided leather chain is available for those who prefer something less industrial. In either case, the pocket watch will be the perfect accessory for matching a three-piece suit, or dressing up a more casual outfit. Next thing you know… monocles might be making a modern comeback.
