Design, Two Wheels

MK1 and MK1-E by Butchers + Bicycles

View all 6 Photos

Now available from the Copenhagan-based company Butchers + Bicycles, the MK1 is a “tilt-action cargo bike” with a durable carriage and three wheels for stability. Despite its hefty silhouette, the design turns like a standard two-wheel bike and, with the e-bike upgrade, can speed down the street. Made of aluminum and powder-coated in white or black, the carriage provides space for a couple of shopping totes full of groceries. With the purchase of a children’s pack, the unit also comes outfitted with leather seats and two seatbelts. Check out the urban design on Vimeo.
