The Marnaut Seascape 200M Dive Watch

View all 11 Photos

An imaginatively designed and expertly crafted diver watch you’ll want to show off.

Following on the footsteps of the popular Marnaut Dark Surge 300M Dive Watch, the new Seascape 200M Dive Watch features the same distinctive style that draws inspiration from both vintage diver watches and sea urchins. At a glance, it’s clear that this second model is a Marnaut timepiece. However, the watch boasts notable differences that set it firmly apart from its predecessor. Among them, the 1960s-style, Super Compressor design with a twin crown. While the upper crown rotates the bezel, the bottom one adjusts the time.

The imaginative dial references the silhouette and distinct markings of a sea urchin’s exoskeleton. It features 34 symmetrically raised metal indexes and an enamel finish. Like the brand’s first model, each index boasts a Super-LumiNova coating that also covers the hands and the triangular marker. As a result, the user can always see the current time clearly, even in low-lighting conditions. The watch comes with a super compressor style 40mm case and a double domed sapphire with a scratch-proof surface and an anti-reflective underside coating. Inside, there’s a best-in-class automatic Miyota 9015 movement with 24 jewels and a 42-hour plus power reserve. Rubber or Italian leather straps complete the design.

Launched through Kickstarter, the Marnaut Seascape 200M Dive Watch comes in three variations. Backers can choose between the white or black inner rotating bezels with brushed stainless steel cases or the black IP plated case with a matching black inner bezel. Each watch also comes with a serial number and unique QR code for two-factor authentication. Supporting the campaign not only ensures that this beauty will get from the prototype stage to production, but it also provides an easy way to get the timepiece at a heavily discounted price. The campaign ends on Friday, January 24, 2020. Photographs© Marnaut.
