Diamond Atelier was founded in Munich 2013 to fill the void created by a lack of handcrafted and creatively designed custom bikes. The goal to build the “next generation of Cafe Racers” was bold coming from a group of young riders who were entering a world dominated by old-timers and well-established businesses. But within just three years, Diamond Atelier has become a respected and sought-after motorcycle customization brand. To meet the high international demand, the company has recently launched a new series.
The Mark II bike is available in three stages and is based on BMW‘s 2-Valve Monolever models, coming with an 800cc or a 1000cc engine. It was created in collaboration with BMW designer Julian Weber and features a blend of timeless appeal and Diamond Atelier’s signature low-slung body and dynamic lines. Made using only premium components manufactured in Germany by leading companies, the series provides unsurpassed quality and style in one. The standard model comes with a modified original 41mm BMW fork, 285mm BMW brake discs, powder coated original wheels, and street tires. On the second level, extras include custom made spoke wheels and semi-slick tires, while on the third stage the bike comes with a Supersport upside-down fork, 320mm aftermarket brake discs, and custom built Wilbers rear shocks to suit the rider’s height. Owners can choose the color of the motorcycle and even pick it up from the workshop in Munich. Each Mark II motorcycle takes two months to build and there will be only 10 made. Prices for the stage one are around $24,000 and reach $30,000 for stage three. You can read more about the specs and order a bike here.
