Du Pain et des Idées

View all 1 Photos

Opened in a former bakery from the 19th-century, Du Pain et des Idées connects two eras of Parisian bread and pastry artistry. The interior features a stunning hand-painted glass ceiling and other vintage detailing that will almost – almost! – make you forget why you came here. The smell of freshly baked bread, croissants, and other pastries will snap you out of your reverie in seconds and bring you back to 21st century Paris. As owner and master baker Christophe Vasseur takes his time with each rustic bread and flaky croissant, expect to find a limited variety of products every day, but rest assured that they are all baked to perfection.
