The Luna Lighting Series

A modular lighting series with a lunar twist.

Founded by brothers-in-law Gabriel Kakon and Scott Richler, Gabriel Scott is a Montreal-based brand that makes refined furniture and lighting for contemporary interiors. The company’s new Luna series brings a creative twist to lighting design. It features a modular glass globe lighting fixture that draws inspiration from a lunar halo, bringing together tubular and spherical shapes in sculptural compositions. A synergy of refracted light, colors, finishes, and eye-catching shapes, the series also allows the user to assemble the fixtures in horizontal or vertical directions.

The collection references moon’s soft glow and scattered light with different glass shapes, colors, and transparencies. All of the line’s light fixtures offer a wide range of customization options. For example, the brand offers the pendant lights and chandeliers with various tube and glass globe lighting fixture colors. Hardware and canopy finishes also provide more choice, allowing the user to create the perfect lighting for a particular decor. Options include anything from pink, blue, and yellow glass to satin copper or satin brass hardware. More neutral versions like smoke glass with blackened steel are also available. The Luna series features the Luna Pendant as well as three types of chandelier, with one, two, or three tiers. Photographs© Gabriel Scott.
