The L1 Watch

Looking at time in a different way.

Inspired by the soul and build of an analogue watch, Madrid-based brand Loyto Watches designed a bold timepiece that looks unlike anything else on the market. The L1 Watch maintains the spirit of classic watches, but provides a fresh twist on the familiar design. The unisex timepiece features a modern dial without hands or even traditional markings going around the face. Instead, the watch boasts two arcs which display the time in a creative way. On the top, numbers and dots mark the hours, while a hue change which “fills” up the arc shows the current hour. Below, the minute arc features an automotive-inspired indicator. Ultra-clean and minimal, the dial boasts only the brand’s logo, which complements the aesthetic of the watch to blend into its design naturally.

The sandblasted stainless steel case measures 40mm and comes in black and white versions. The former comes with a black dial and white hour arc, while the latter has a white face and a black tone filling the hour line. Both models come with matching genuine leather straps. The L1 Watch has gained recognition; it has received a prestigious Red Dot Design Concept Award. You can find the timepiece in the brand’s online shop, in black and white versions.
