Llama by André Simón Soneira

View all 11 Photos

Meant as a simple solution for organizing stray articles of clothing, this new piece from Spanish designer André Simón Soneira makes the best of both function and aesthetic. With a subtle and humorous nod to a Llama, the work’s namesake, alongside a bold use of color, Soneira adds a whimsical dimension to an everyday object. The holes on the “ears” allow for a hanger or other hook while the entire body of the Llama provides a surface from which to suspend various accessories and extraneous pieces of clothing. The environmentally-conscious Simón has made the structure from birchwood, a renewable material. See more of his work here.
