“Levitation?” Photo Series

In the “Levitation?” photo series, Maryland-based photographer Bairon Rivera explores what might happen if earth’s gravity let loose. His conceptual photography renders outdoor scenes in bright colors to match the surreal situation. People and objects seemingly jump, pedal, or drift into the air and don’t come down. There’s a natural look to their posture and gestures that makes their suspension all the more uncanny.
