Those who love vintage cars just and exploring wild natural landscapes have plenty of reasons to be happy. In recent years, more and more auto workshops have taken on the task of restoring old off-road cars to their former glory. Among them, one company stands out. We previously wrote about a Land Rover Series 3 rejuvenated by the Cool & Vintage team. Now the auto shop has revealed another gem, a 1980s Land Rover 109 Beach Runner restored to perfection.
Previously owned by the Portuguese TV Broadcast Company, the car was in fantastic shape. It had only 19,000 miles on board and came with original parts that included the engine and gearbox. The team stripped the vehicle down to the bare chassis and restored some parts before assembling everything back together. There are several changes to the original which are worth mentioning. The rugged trim keeps water and sand away from the interior, while the heavy-duty wheels and new BF Goodrich Mud tires ensure that the car rides smoothly on all kinds of terrain. Other additions include a custom black mohair hood, military-style windows, custom water and UV resistant seats, as well as a beautiful light matte yellow paint for the perfect finish. If you’re interested in grabbing this beauty, the price is available on request. Photo credits: Cool & Vintage.
