Lake Lugano House by Jacopo Mascheroni

View all 30 Photos

The Lake Lugano House is a gorgeous two-volume home that’s perched on a hillside in Switzerland. Jacopo Mascheroni of JM Architecture designed it with two levels: a polygonal shaped pavilion and an underground space. The living room, dining room, kitchen and storage area are all on the top floor while the bedrooms, bathrooms and garage are on the bottom. Breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the Lugano lake captivate residents in the outdoor garden of the glass pavilion. A thick lacquered wooden wall separates the kitchen from the living room in the center of this space where the bathroom, stairs and mechanical room also reside.
