Kona Mauna Loa Coffee

Smooth and flavorful artisan coffee grown and roasted in Hawaii.

Based in Hawaii, Kona Coffee Purveyors makes the most of the islands’ elevation, microclimate, and nutrient-rich volcanic soil to produce excellent artisan coffee. Working closely with a third-generation coffee farmer, the company sources the finest coffee beans. The team then roasts them to perfection to achieve the signature Kona flavor profile. Their Kona Mauna Loa is a single origin coffee grown at an elevation of 1700 ft, on the South Kona estate that receives ample amounts of rain as well as sun-shade to ensure optimal cherry ripening. Roasted to bring out the rich flavors from every coffee bean, Kona Mauna Loa boasts orange blossom, tangerine, almond, and chocolate notes.

The coffee comes in 6 oz or 12 oz bags. Customers can then choose between a wide range of grind types. Apart from whole bean and French press, coffee lovers can also select cold brew, pour over, espresso, and automatic drip. And these are not even all of the available options. Finally, the packaging looks gorgeous with blue and yellow colors reminiscent of the islands’ spectacular and sunny coastline. If you’re visiting Hawaii, you can also drop by Kona Coffee Purveyors’ cafe in Waikiki, Honolulu. To complement their artisan coffee, they serve James Beard award-winning croissants and pastries from San Francisco’s popular b.patisserie. Photographs© Kona Coffee Purveyors.
