Kobi Chair by Patick Norquet for Alias

View all 10 Photos

French designer Patrick Norquet created the Kobi armchair for Italian furniture manufacturer Alias. The seat is a woven soldered round steel wire basket that’s supported by a cast aluminum belt. The seat cushion almost covers the metal structure entirely; it completes the piece while making it more comfortable for longer lounging. The legs are made from stove-enameled aluminum that’s either exposed or finished with an oak veneer.
