Two Wheels

Merlin by Old Empire Motorcycles

View all 26 Photos

Old Empire Motorcycles’ (OEM) Merlin is a custom build of a ‘01 Kawasaki W650. Extensively changing the motorbike, OEM and dropped the front of the bike with Ducati USD forks, raised the blunt end, and widened the front rim in order to make room for Coker tires in the same size front and back. Almost every part of the bike was adjusted, polished, or embellished, evening out the weight and sharpening the “aggressive” aesthetic. The finished ride is painted dark green with gold contour stripes and high gloss by Black Shuck Kustoms, and the seat is dressed up Alexander McQueen-style in quilted leather.
