Specially made to switch seamlessly between illuminating indoor areas to brightening outdoor living spaces, the Humble lighting collection comprises a series of portable lamps that are as practical as they are creative and stylish. The four different designs offer elegant ways to enhance a home’s décor while creating a cozy mood, whether in a living room or in a garden. Designed in Amsterdam and a perfect example of contemporary Dutch design, the Humble collection reimagines practical lighting as a decorative object. Firefly, One, Two, and Bug all feature distinctive silhouettes and elegantly curved forms, but they all provide the same blend of function, durability and versatility.
Inspired by a firefly, the eponymous Humble table lamp features a clear smoked or frosted polycarbonate shade that makes the light bulb resemble a glowing beetle. The rounded aluminum base features either a gold or a bronze finish, adding a refined touch to the design.
The Humble One lamp can not only handle the elements with grace, but can also withstand fall damage thanks to an impact-resistant PET bulb. The transparent cover puts the focus on the glow of the light, while the tapered base subtly mirrors the shape of the shade. Finished with matte colors or wood and marble effects, the One lamp adds a chic accent to any space.
Designed as a counterpart to Humble One, the Humble Two table lamp comes in a huge array of versions, each providing different ways to improve a room’s décor. For example, the shades come either dome-shaped or with a classic frustum shape. Materials for the shade range from aluminum to polycarbonate and linen, with finishes including matte, frosted and smoked. As for the base, it comes in hues as different as gold, vibrant yellow or bright blue, to name a few.
Larger than the other three Humble lamps, the Bug table lamp is nevertheless elegant and has a delicate presence in a room. It features a dome-like shade that directs the light to the table, making this lamp perfect for home offices or an outdoor dining area. Different color options with matte or lustrous finishes complement the minimalist design.
All four Humble table lamps are portable and made with waterproof builds to allow both indoor and outdoor use. Dimming features with three steps allow users to create the perfect mood. Additionally, these wireless lamps come with rechargeable batteries that can provide up to 140 hours of light on a full charge. Smart features offer a convenient way to control the Humble lamps through a smartphone, motion sensor, or voice commands. Finally, easily replaceable parts make this collection a great example of sustainable design, as users can easily repair and upgrade the modular lamps instead of purchasing new lighting.
