Loft Kolasinski has recently completed another Berlin project. This time, the studio’s interior design experts transformed a newly-built house in the Prenzlauer Berg district. On this project, the studio also collaborated with Designyougo, which designed various built-in elements. House on Prenzlauer Berg displays the studio’s penchant for creating sophisticated, contemporary interiors. Here, natural materials like solid wood and linen appear alongside concrete, glass and glass surfaces. Bright white walls enhance the lofty ambience of the living spaces, while large windows and sliding glass doors flood the interior with natural light.
Custom wood furniture – made and designed by the studio – is paired with vintage décor items dating back to the ‘50s-‘60s. Art by Stanisław Dawski and Aecio Sarti adds a refined accent to the living spaces, while traditional clay pots bring a touch of rustic charm. Elegant and minimalist, the rooms boast white and neutral tones. Occasional bursts of color – a green carpet or a burgundy chair – accentuate the cool feel of the gray tones further.
