Food and Drink, Italians do it better

Guido Castagna’s Exquisite Chocolate

View all 8 Photos

Taste the rich sweetness of the fine chocolate craftsman Guido Castagna. His work of making Piedmont chocolate with a bold color fusion and a dignified taste makes me want to dip into a pool of this chocolaty goodness. Bred in the birthplace of solid chocolate, his workshop (Atelier del Cioccolato) in Torino, Italy brings extreme innovation to the craft perfected with his artistic pinch of creativity. Travels to the lavish tropical atmosphere of the Dominican Republic where he buys his chocolate led him  to understand more about the cocoa plant and appreciate this region of the world in which it grows. The abundant warmth, the luscious smells and the vibrant colors heightened his love and dedication to the craft. This passion for creating such succulent delights of Cioccolato has given him recognition at the National Chocolate Awards where he won Silver for Giandujotti chocolate and spreads with dark chocolate.
