Gravitistic Magnet Watch by Jaemin Jaeminlee

View all 5 Photos

It’s adventuristic, idealistic, Gravistic. Designer Jaemin Jaeminlee offers metaphorical representation of the heaviness and solemnity of time through the dynamic Gravitistic Magnet Watch. The bright red watch face has its perimeter surrounded by silver second markings, which tilt towards the pointing minute hand in an undeniable attractive achieved through the use of magnets. To add an element of the futuristic look, the hands of the watch are boldly rectangular, featuring cutouts in the metal at the tips. Despite the sleek and minimal aesthetic, the meaning is not something to be taken lightly: gravitas through gravity.
