Functional Home Decor by 5Lab

View all 13 Photos

Based in Barcelona, Spain, 5LAB is run by design duo Roberto Paparcone and Iñigo Gómez. Two of their latest designs, Olivia and the SRack, exemplify the studio’s marriage of functionality and play. Olivia is a table set with a black wooden base and two looking glasses in red and white. The pair of mirrors slide into the grooves of the base for easy display and use.

Similar to this modular wall rack, an earlier design by the lab, the SRack is a tall wooden rack with a naturally finished stand and “antlers” for hanging coats and bags. The hooks are painted black and red to match the claw foot base. Both of the new designs exemplify 5LAB’s practical focus and clean-lined aesthetic.
