Founded by espresso lover and bio-medical engineer Sergio Landau, Flair Espresso makes the science of crafting the perfect espresso look easy. Cleverly simple as well as elegant, the brand’s manual espresso machines provide the perfect solution to make a ‘barista-style’ coffee in your own kitchen. Years of development and more than 30 years of engineering experience went into the first product made by the company, the Flair Espresso Maker. While it required no electricity, the hand powered espresso machine required the use of quality coffee to make the most of the ingenious system. The Flair Espresso collection focuses on the slow movement with a manual design that makes every cup of coffee special. The company believes in enjoying the journey as much as the result and in putting the focus on the little things that matter. Like making the perfectly pressed cup of java in the morning.

Using a Flair Espresso hand powered espresso machine, the user only has to pour boiling water into the brewing cylinder. Underneath, a portafilter contains the freshly ground beans. Lowering the manual lever pushed the boiling water through the fresh grounds with around 9-16 Bar pressure. And the result? An aromatic, pro-style cup of espresso with the perfect amount of crema. Easy to clean as well as conveniently compact, the manual espresso machines are as practical as they are elegant.

Flair Espresso offers a range of stylish products for coffee fans. These include the original Flair Classic and the Flair Signature machines. The latter keep the original’s main features, including the aluminum and stainless steel build and removable brewing head. However, the Signature series features a matte chrome or matte black body with a copper plated portafilter base. Handcrafted coffee fanatics can also take a things up a level or two with the Flair Signature PRO. This hand powered espresso machine features a built-in pressure gauge to offer incredible precision throughout the coffee extraction process. Other features include a two-piece drip tray and an integrated stainless steel plunger as well as a stainless steel portafilter. An enhanced capacity also adds more functionality to the design.
