The Fellow Ode Coffee Grinder

A next-generation home coffee grinder for a true bean to cup experience.

San Francisco-based brand Fellow has been making premium coffee and tea brewing products since 2013, when they introduced their Duo Coffee Steeper. The Fellow collection has grown over the last few years with some beautifully designed, award-winning products. Now, the company has launched an innovative product that will change the way you make and enjoy your favorite coffee. Created with design and branding agency Branch, Ode is a next-generation grinder that brings café machinery capabilities into homes.

The elegant design will take pride of place in any kitchen, but the hidden features really make this grinder special. Extra-powerful yet compact at the same time, the Ode coffee grinder features professional-grade 64mm flat burrs and a direct-drive motor with PID feedback control that not only reduce grind time and friction, but also ensure a consistent particle consistency. You can select between 31 grind settings to find the perfect option for your coffee. The single dose loading system keeps the coffee fresh, while the auto stop feature ensures it’s perfectly ground, every time. Other features include the reduced grind noise, magnetically aligned catch, grinds knocker, and measuring aid dots.

Launched through Kickstarter and available now at a price of $239, Ode is a huge success story. The campaign has surpassed the initial goal four times over, less than two weeks from launch. If you want to become a backer, keep in mind that you can pledge your support until February 10, 2020. You can also complement your new Ode coffee grinder with other products from the Fellow line, including the popular Stagg pour-over kettle and Clyde stovetop kettle. Photographs© Fellow.
