Exploded Cars by Fabian Oefner

View all 14 Photos

The photographs of Fabian Oefner pile on layers of technique to ultimately present such stunning images. First, the artist draws the vision for the current project. Using an obsession with fine details, each automobile model is disassembled then those individual parts are arranged just so against a white background for their fashion shoot. After a bit of computer animation and a lot of hours….three weeks worth to be exact, the model is realigned in its explosive state according to the original sketch.  Shown in two representations: Disintegrated and Hatch.
