Design, Italians do it better

Egloo Candle-Powered Heater

View all 8 Photos

Designed and made in Italy, Egloo is a candle-powered heater by design student Marco Zagaria. The terracotta design stores and radiates warmth wherever it is placed. A cost-effective alternative to an electric space heater, the Egloo promises to keep a small room a comfortable temp for just 10 cents per day. Zagaria is currently crowdfunding the design on Indiegogo, where it will be available for pre-order until January 28, 2015. Supporters can snag their Egloo in raw terracotta or glazed with a colorful matte paint or glossy enamel.
