Founded in 2005 by Nobuyuki Fukui, Roovice specializes in renovating residential, commercial, and public spaces in Yokohama, the Kanagawa Prefecture, and throughout Japan. Its goal is to expand the choice of housing in Japan by maintaining a link to the past and enhancing traditional features with a contemporary style, bringing the comfort of modern technologies in living spaces at the same time. Working closely with the clients, the studio approaches each project individually, putting an emphasis on creativity, flexibility, and minimalism. From cozy homes to stylish restaurant interiors and modern offices, the Roovice studio designs contemporary spaces that are enriched by the use of natural materials and by a focus on traditional elements.
