Mauricio Pezo and Sofi Von Ellrichshausen started the award-winning art and architecture studio Pezo Von Ellrichshausen in Southern Chile in 2002. Pezo has an undergraduate degree in Archictecture from the Universidad Del Bio-Bio, and a Master in Architecture degree from the Universidad Catolica. He is the recipient of the Young Architect Prize of the Chilean Architects Association, and the Municipal Art Prize from the Concepcion City Hall.
Von Ellrichshausen obtained a degree in Architecture, along with the Fadu-Uba Honors Diploma, from the Universidad de Buenos Aires. Pezo and Von Ellrichshausen have both taught at distinguished institutions such as Cornell and Harvard, and have lectured, exhibited, and presented in museums and other venues in New York, Chicago, Venice, London, and many more.
