Pedro Pegenaute

Pamplona, Spain

Born in Pamplona in 1977, Pedro Pegenaute made a pivotal career switch from architecture to photography in 2005. Specializing in architectural photography, he has collaborated with renowned architects and publishers globally. His unique perspective has earned him prestigious awards such as the 1st Award from Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos Vasco-Navarro and the 1st Award in “Miradas desde la Arquitectura.” A respected figure in the industry, Pegenaute has also served as a judge in photography contests. His work has graced architectural exhibitions in cities like Barcelona, Tokyo, and New York. Beyond still photography, he has ventured into the audio-visual realm, exploring “the humanity of architecture.” In 2011, he founded Pegenaute Studio and published his first book, “Pedro Pegenaute Personal,” in 2013. His 2021 project, “2020 Pamplona at Home,” explored the architectural impact of COVID-19 lockdowns.
