Paul Ott (1965) is an award-winning architectural photographer based in Austria. He has been working as a freelance photographer since 1989. While his work explores concepts of memory, association and spatial geometry, it mostly focuses on highlighting the ways architecture can influence one’s perception of urban and rural spaces or natural landscapes. The photographer has received many awards for his work, including the European Prize of Architectural Photography. His images have been exhibited widely and have been published in numerous architectural publications. The first monograph of his work was published in 2011. Paul Ott currently lives and works in Graz, Austria.
