Mette Lange Architects

Præstø, Denmark

Mette Lange, born in Gentofte and alumnus of Kunstakademiets Arkitektskole, Copenhagen, has been crafting architectural narratives since she inaugurated her firm in 2002. Drawing inspiration from the rich tapestry of Danish architectural practices, Lange embeds sustainability and social responsibility into every blueprint. Nature plays a pivotal role in her designs, acting as a canvas that brings out the essence of space. In a collaboration with Christian Rejnhold, she introduced “Mini House,” an innovative building system tailored for flexibility and affordability. Her architectural journey has crossed borders, with projects dotting landscapes from Denmark to India, Iran, Sri Lanka, and Iceland. Each venture is a testament to Lange’s dedication to assimilate and reflect the ethos of the environment and the aspirations of her clients.
