Maximilian Gottwald received his High School Diploma at the Max-Born Gymnasium at Germering. He did his internship at Target design field from January to March 2002. He then studied Art History in Imu, Munich. Maximilian Gottwald also did an internship with Stefan Mueller at Naumann, Munich centered on photo design and architectural photography.
He also studied photo design and received his diploma from the Munich University of Applied Sciences in October 2004. He is currently represented by Poolima, Architecture Photography agency since the year 2011. Gottwald has been a member of the BVAF – Bundesverband Architekturfotografie from the year 2019 until now.
