MASAAI Studio

Verona, Italy

MASAAI, established in 2016 by Matteo Maria Savoia, has grown since 2018 with the addition of Carlo Alberto Cusinati, a fellow scholar and friend. The studio’s cultural fabric has been enriched over the years by the diverse experiences of its collaborators. MASAAI operates across various scales, from urban planning to furniture design, from landscape to interiors. The studio holds a belief that architecture should transcend rational and pre-established frameworks, allowing the creative process to encompass the entire spectrum of human life, including its artistic and irrational aspects. With a forward-looking approach, MASAAI constantly seeks to innovate, infusing its work and thought process with multidisciplinary ideas. Embracing the rapid evolution of digital technologies in architecture, the studio continually updates its computational skills, selecting tools that best articulate its vision into tangible realities. This commitment is crucial for delivering optimal outcomes, benefiting not just clients but society at large, as architecture plays a pivotal role in shaping social activities. MASAAI strives to ensure that each project, whether small or large scale, positively impacts the surrounding environment and lifestyle, emphasizing sustainable development as a shared goal, rather than a mere slogan. The studio’s work is a testament to its belief in creating a legacy that future generations can take pride in.
