Marino Thorlacius is a photographer, he was born in 1979 and is currently based in Iceland. His personal work gained near instant attention early on, showing heavy influence from an upbringing in a remote place with a close relation to nature and the ever-changing elements of Iceland. Marino divides his time between his studios in the remote Westfjords and Reykjavik the capital of Iceland.
Marino has worked on worldwide commissions in Japan – America and across Europe. He also had collaborations with fashion and product designers that have been shown and exhibited worldwide, with countless appearances in various magazines, showrooms, and books.
