Klar is an architectural studio founded in Kopřivnice in 2017 by Václav Kocián and Zdenek Liška, dealing with projects of different forms and sizes. Václav Kocian studied Architecture at FA BUT Brno and then took his Master’s degree in the field of Architecture and Urbanism. Zdenek Liška also studied Architecture in FS BUT Brno, and also had an internship in HHF Architekten, Basel.
They value the places in which they grew up in and they try to reflect this relationship in their studio’s work. They do not perceive architecture as a mere exhibition, but as a complex discipline including functionality, aesthetics, and being able to work with context.
