Heju

Paris, France

Hélène Pinaud and Julien Schwartzmann, both state-certified and top graduates from the National School of Architecture in Strasbourg, joined forces to create Studio Heju in 2015. Their creative output showcases a harmonious fusion of Japanese and Scandinavian aesthetic sensibilities They utilize straight lines and minimalist volumes to create timeless spaces. They employ a sensitive and spontaneous approach, challenging norms and advocating for a return to emotion. Natural, aging materials form the cornerstone of their designs, where white serves as a canvas and color introduces contrast. Each project is unique, marked by stripped-back simplicity, luminosity, and tranquility. They believe in the continuity of art, design, and architecture, imagining their projects by merging inspirations and disciplines. For them, beauty lies in the simplest details, and they aim to be audacious in all their architectural compositions and material combinations, continuously innovating and creating singular projects.
