London, United Kingdom
Fardaa is an architecture and urban design studio based in London, with a diverse portfolio of projects across the UK. Their approach centers on the unique characteristics of each place, the needs of its users and communities, and the responsibility to address social and environmental concerns. Fardaa believes that design should be a comprehensive process, encompassing aesthetic, economic, ethical, social, tectonic, and environmental considerations without bias.
The studio was founded by Edward Farleigh-Dastmalchi in 2019, who has previously worked with leading practices such as East, Karakusevic Carson, David Chipperfield, and Alison Brooks. Edward currently oversees the practice and also teaches undergraduate architecture design at Kingston School of Art in London. He is a member of the Steering Group for the Finsbury Park & Stroud Green Neighbourhood Plan.
