DLANDstudio is an award-winning, interdisciplinary architecture and design practice founded by Susannah C. Drake in 2005. From the beginning, the Brooklyn-based studio focused on a core mission, of providing sustainable, transformative and ecologically responsible design solutions. The firm has completed projects locally and nationally, with work ranging from residential projects to educational settings and public spaces. DLANDstudio’s work has received many awards and has been included in the permanent collections of MoMA in New York and at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. In May 2022, DLANDstudio integrated into global design firm Sasaki, where Susannah C. Drake took on the role of principal.
