Bernardo Bader established his architectural firm Bernardo Bader Architekten in 2003. He graduated with distinction from the Technical University in Innsbruck in 2001. Since 2006, he has been a licensed civil engineer and sits on a number of design advisory boards in Voralberg, Salzburg, and Dornbirn.
Bader has won distinguished awards such as the Weissenhof Architecture Promotion Prize in 2007, the Piranesi Award in 2012 and 2017, and the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 2013. Bader also holds teaching positions at the University of St. Gallen and the University of Liechtenstein, and has won several prizes and awards from clients and the regional timber construction industry.
