The CW&T M.R. Tape Dispenser

A practical and incredibly versatile multi-radius tape dispenser that can easily hold tape rolls of different sizes.

Created by the Brooklyn-based art and design practice CW&T, the M.R. Tape Dispenser is an ingenious product that makes the lives of designers, creatives, artists and DIY aficionados easier. Similarly to other designs developed by the studio, this multi-radius tape dispenser optimizes function in a minimalist form that focuses only on essential features and on ease of use. Cleverly simple, this tape dispenser is crafted from a bent and machined piece of quality stainless steel. The precise shape and angles of the metal base make cutting tape as easy as possible, with only one hand.

Using tension to hold one or multiple rolls, the dispenser features an opening that allows users to feed the tape and keep it ready to use. While boasting a textured surface, the stainless steel material features a mirror-polished finish on a slim section to ensure maximum adhesion. Sharp teeth then cut the tape with precision.

As versatile as it is convenient, the M.R. Tape Dispenser allows both horizontal and vertical installation. Users can easily wall-mount the dispenser or secure it on a flat surface like a desk or workshop table. The narrow shape and minimalist design provide a great solution to install several tape dispensers in a row, if needed. A rubber bump-on pad on its base provides excellent grip while protecting more delicate materials. Photography © CW&T.
