Stylish and ready for adventures.
In a quest to make the BMW GS bike look more classic, Brooklyn-based Whitcraft Services didn’t hold anything back. Stylish and sleek but also ready for fun adventures, this custom build blends a minimal aesthetic with an impressive range of modifications. More lightweight than ever before, the BMW R1150GS bike now boasts simplified – and optimized – features to provide extra agility and excitement while riding. The motorbike workshop modified the electrical system completely and designed a new one for the bike’s needs. The changes include the removal of up to 90% of the old wiring harness as well as the addition of a Motogadget M-Unit Blue, Motogadget oil pressure sender and Motogadget Chronoclassic Dark Speedo with a digital interface.
A lightweight Antigravity Lithium battery hides under the ECU and features a bespoke leather strap and buckle crafted in Brooklyn. New parts also include a Truck-lite LED headlight, a BAAK Cycles LED tail light, and a custom 5-gallon fuel tank. The new suspension suits the lighter weight of the bike and comes with custom spring rates and an adjustable preload. Other modifications include rebuilt wheels with new spokes, bearings, hubs, and rims as well as Avon Trailrider tires. The trimmed and shaped seat pan and foam complement the bike’s new slender silhouette, while the diamond stitch pattern leather upholstery adds a stylish accent to the build. A luggage rack and a recycled military waxed cotton Unit Garage luggage bag complete the adventure-ready design.
