Architect and designer Steven Harris established his award-winning firm in 1985 in New York City. Before founding the eponymous architecture practice, he studied at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design and at Princeton University. Steven Harris Architects has completed residential, commercial, and institutional projects in various areas of the US as well as in countries like Mexico, South Africa, or Croatia. Steven Harris has taught at Princeton and Harvard, is currently Professor of Architecture at Yale, and regularly holds lectures worldwide. He was inducted in the Interior Design Hall of Fame in 2008, while his firm was included on the AD100, Luxe Gold List, and Elle Decor A-list. With Deborah Berke, he has co-edited the book Architecture of the Everyday. In his spare time, Steven Harris participates in vintage driving rallies.
