Stefano Giovannoni

Stefano Giovannoni was born in La Spezia, Italy. After graduating from the University of Architecture of Florence, he started working as an interior and industrial designer. In the 1980s, he collaborated with Ettore Sottsass and began working with renowned companies. Famous clients include Alessi, Lavazza, Seiko, Samsung, and Fiat. Stefano Giovannoni’s work encompasses a wide range of projects, from furniture and lighting to bathroom products, accessories, and gadgets. His designs are creative and idiosyncratic, whether they take inspiration from nature, the human figure, or abstract concepts and modern technology. His designs have received many awards, including the New York Interior Design Award, Good Design Award, and Red Dot Design award. Apart from his design work, he has also taught at universities and academies in Italy and has worked as an art director for Frisco/Nestlè, Qeeboo, and the Milano Triennale Design. Stefano Giovannoni currently lives and works in Milan.
