Architectural photographer Marcello Mariana was born in 1977 in Lecco, Italy. After working as a metalworker, he decided to move to Milan to study photography at CFP Bauer. During his studies, he worked as an assistant for Andrea Martiradonna and soon opened his own studio. The photographer’s work captures the soul and the mystery of a place, often in melancholy, poetic images that feature precise, sharp compositions. Throughout his career, Marcello Mariana has collaborated with many Italian and international studios and companies. Apart from renowned architectural firms, the award-winning photographer has completed commissions for brands like Bulgari and Romegialli ACT. His personal work has been featured in various publications and has been exhibited widely, in both group and solo shows in Venice, New York, Paris, Rome, and Barcelona.
