London, United Kingdom
Growing up within a family of architects and designers Edmund developed a deep-rooted understanding and appreciation of architecture and design. In 1995 he decided to combine his two great passions, that of photography with that of architecture and began to photograph building intensely.
Through photography, he hopes to promote contemporary architecture to an increasingly visually sophisticated public. He is based in London but travels regularly to various parts of UK, Europe and Japan in search of interesting architecture. His clients include Bolles Wilson (Germany), Nicholas Grimshaw and Partners, Speirs and Major Lighting Design, Chetwood Associates and Vitra. He is a regular contributor to magazines as Blueprint, Architectural Review, Architects’ Journal, Building Design, Hauser, Casa Brutus and A+U and his first book “The Architecture of Eden” was published by Transworld in November 2003.
