Chulan Kwak

Chulan Kwak is a designer who has worked in designing and creating furniture after studying at Hongik Univerisity in Korea and Design Academy Eindhoven in Netherlands. Chulan Kwak’s design blends and juxtaposes logical researches and intuitive inspirations. And this execution strategy came from the well-mixed experience of both Korean design based on aesthetic values and Dutch design built of logicality. His design deals with mostly conceptual and philosophical issues that transcend time and space through creating form and structure, experiments of material and manufacturing processes.
