The Cotic Cascade Adventure Bike

View all 22 Photos

A versatile bike designed with a flexibility in mind.

Created by Cotic, an independent bicycle company based in Derbyshire, UK, the new Cotic Cascade is an adventure bike with a versatile and easily adaptable design. In the brand’s lineup, the Cascade stands between their SolarisMAX hardtail mountain bike and the Escapade road and gravel bike. However, this drop bar adventure bike can take on virtually any type of terrain thanks to an ingenious build. Cascade comes with a Chromoly steel frame with bridge-less S-bend chainstays and clearance for 29’’ x 2.6’’ tires. The bike can also fit 27.5 x 2.8″ and 3.0″ tires. Thanks to its flexible design, it can transform from a stripped down racer with rigid carbon forks to a drop bar mountain bike with 100mm suspension forks or to a bikepacking build with the Cotic bespoke steel fork.

The bike’s frame features bosses for racks and fenders as well as frame bags and top tube bags. A series of custom bags, specially designed for the Cascade, allow the user to expand the luggage options. Handmade in the UK, these top tube bags feature a waterproof removable liner as well as rainbow and gray laces for attachment. Coptic offers the bike in various versions, from a bare frame to a rolling chassis or a complete build. The Cotic Cascade also comes in different color combinations. Customers can choose between Lichen, Smoke Gray, and Nimbus Sunrise options, all available in two sizes of S/M and L/XL. Photography© Cotic Cycles.
