The Como Audio Turntable

A sleek, wireless turntable to please both music and design lovers.

Founded in 2016 by audio industry expert and music lover Tom DeVesto, Como Audio makes state-of-the-art music systems that complement their quality sound with elegant design. Unlike other companies, the brand uses crowdfunding marketing strategies to connect directly with its customers. The Como Audio latest collection is no exception. Apart from the SpeakEasy Stereo speaker, the brand has also launched the Como Audio Turntable through Indiegogo. The new Bluetooth wooden turntable comes at the perfect time. “Vinyl is making a comeback,” says Tom DeVesto, Designer and CEO of Como Audio. “If you ever listened to a master recording on vinyl, it is hard to go back to digitally recorded music, plus once you start collecting vinyl – you won’t want to stop,” he adds.

Beautifully designed, the turntable features a real wood veneer or a high-gloss piano plinth. Both options come with an anodized aluminum speed button. The user can play music wirelessly, via Bluetooth, or with an audio cable. To offer superior sound quality, the wooden turntable comes with a heavy metal platter. It measures 12″ in diameter and rotates smoothly to decrease resonance. The ultra-precision frequency DC-driven AC generator and the low-noise AC synchronous motor ensure speed stability, without adding any vibration.

Other features include the 33 or 45 RPM speed as well as the 8.6” tone arm, optimized for an Ortofon magnetic cartridge. The turntable also comes with a back felt mat and a removable dust cover. Available in Walnut, Hickory, Piano Gloss Black, and Piano Gloss White, the Como Audio Turntable matches the finishes of other products from the brand’s collection. The wooden turntable is available through the Indiegogo campaign, in a bundle with the SpeakEasy Stereo at a reduced price of $499. You can also find it on the brand’s website, separately.
