The Cloud Table

View all 11 Photos

A creatively designed coffee table inspired by the curved shapes of cloud formations.

Founded in a collaboration between Liljencrantz Design and KFK Cabinetmakers, Swedish furniture and accessories brand Veermakers produces skillfully crafted products that are minimalist as well as bold. The Cloud Table is no exception. Following the company’s mission to make objects that last for generations, this coffee table complements its quirky design with a traditional wood build. Made in Sweden from oak or walnut, the table boasts robust, pillar-like legs. The wavy top that inspired its name reminds of the shape of cloud formations. It’s a refreshingly modern take on classic Scandinavian design. The five legs pierce the tabletop, adding a darker accent in both the lighter oak and the walnut versions.

Cloud comes in two sizes, medium and large. Customers can choose the type of wood as well as the finish, from clear satin or hi-gloss lacquer. Every coffee table is made to order using responsible manufacturing methods with a lead time of 8 to 10 weeks. The furniture brand also offers a rush order option for an extra cost. Manufactured to last for a lifetime and to be a part of a home for generations, the Cloud Table costs around $6,080 for the medium size and around $9,150 for the large version.
