Italians do it better, Two Wheels

Chrome E-Bike

View all 7 Photos

Presented yesterday in Milan, the Chrome E-Bike is a bright new design by Velorapida, makers of e-bikes with vintage style. The bike is chrome-plated and accented with leather and gold detailing, such as its Brooks saddle and cognac tires. Driven from the front wheel, the Chrome is the first and, for now, the only e-bike with a back pedal brake. The bike also boasts five speeds, a 250-watt motor, and an LED screen for monitoring the battery and distance travelled. The battery itself hides inside the front bag, an artisan piece handcrafted from Italian leather.
