Chairs made from Recycled Barrels

View all 7 Photos

It always amazes me how a designer can take one material and completely redefine its use. Take this chair created by Magnus Mewes for instance. He chose to give the barrels of European wineries a new life as a chair. Not only does it have a unique geometry, but it has this singular vintage look which is quite reminiscent to the aging characteristics of wine.
