A minimalist Bluetooth speaker inspired by the purity of a blank canvas.
Designed by Korean designer Jeonghyun Ahn, Canvas is a beautiful Bluetooth speaker that blurs the line between electronics and furniture. The minimalist aesthetic references both the purity of a white art canvas and the distinctive style of the iconic Dieter Rams. At the same time, the speaker combines art, design, and sound in a versatile product that blends into any space.
The Canvas speaker features an elegant frame inspired by furniture design. Made of stainless steel, the frame provides excellent support while also offering an easy solution to re-position the speaker. On the front, Canvas doesn’t feature any buttons logos, keeping the design clean and minimal. Instead, the designer added the volume and playback button at the top of the frame. At the rear, the speaker features the power and Bluetooth buttons at the top and the power line along with the USB port towards the bottom.
Positioned at a 75-degree angle, the Canvas speaker has an upwards orientation. Friction pads on the bottom of the full pipe frame base enhance the speaker’s stability further. As refined as it is unconventional, Canvas brings a touch of serenity and understated style to the world of Bluetooth speakers. Photographs© Jeonghyun Ahn.
