The Cabriolette Lighting Series

Elegant and playful lighting inspired by convertible cars.

Established in 1950, Italian brand Marinelli Luce has become a leading name in contemporary lighting design. The company collaborates with Italian and international designers to create products that have won prestigious awards like the iF Design Award and the Good Design Award. The Martinelli Luce collections take inspiration from nature and geometry as well as minimalist, essential forms. For its latest designs, the brand has collaborated with Italian design practice Studio Natural. Inspired by convertible cars, the Cabriolette series features adjustable shades that allow the users to guide the light with ease. Joining the original table lamp and wall sconce, the new floor lamp and suspension pendant feature the same elegant but also playful design.

The lamps blend clean aesthetics with function. They feature rounded shades that the user can move to direct the beam of light. Tall as well as slim, the Cabriolette floor lamp suits any space. Likewise, the suspension light suits domestic or office environments. Both lamps feature a die-cast aluminum structure with a white, yellow, black, or light blue finish. Made from white opal polycarbonate, the diffuser softens the integrated LED light. Finally, the floor lamp also has a dimming function. The two new designs join the wall sconce and the table lamp that also comes in a cordless version with a rechargeable battery. Martinelli Luce has launched the additions to the Cabriolette series at the 2023 edition of Maison&Objet, along with a new suspension lamp named Avro and the Cyborg Big outdoor lamp.
